Mas de les Vinyes wine recommended as good value for money by Decanter magazine. Decanter magazine tasted 144 priorat and montsant wines this month. Our Raco d'Atans Crianza was recommended and was one of only 17 wines identified as good value for money. 

The wine that is made at Mas de les Vinyes comes from grapes grown only on the property, which allows the family to have absolute control over the product throughout the whole process. The vines are for the most part old and head pruned, although a gradual process of renewal has been underway for several years now. There are  strains of between 40 and 45 years of age, mainly Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon. The main varieties in use are: Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Cariñena and Macabeo, as well as the Merlot and Syrah planted more recently.  Mas de les Vinyes is a vineyard where, due to its special characteristics, wine may vary from year to year. Great attention is continuously paid to the different harvests of a particular variety, the blend of grapes selected for its products, along with other characteristic traits to ensure that only the highest quality wines are obtained and put out to the market each year.
