Francisco Puigvert is a one hundred year old company located in the town of Olot in the Pyrenean foothills in catalunya.

Although the company has been operating from the same site and town for over 100 years it has also developed and moved forward with the times. After several changes and extensions of its activity, the company is currently specialized in the production of a range of spanish chorizo, serrano cured ham and sausage products which have a wider international appeal than a purely local focus on traditional Spanish cured ham. Products are the highest quality and are sold in Spain as well as abroad (France, Germany, Russia, Bulgary, etc.)

The company’s products carry the certification labels of the cured ham foundation. The cured ham foundation is a private institution ensuring the quality of the products manufactured by associated companies. Only the best pieces, that fulfill the established standards, can show the Cured Ham certification and the Foundation label. Only this way, customers can distinguish ham pieces that have been produced according to the highest quality standards.

GOLDEN Quality Label– for hams whose curing has taken over 11 months.

SILVER Quality Label – for hams whose curing has taken between 8 and 11 months.

Products

Products can be made available as deboned hams weighing between 4 and 6 kilograms, as large spanish chorizo sausage for slicing, each one weighing between 1.8 and 2.2 kilograms, or as tunnel shaped sausages, weighing around 4 kilograms. Products can also be made available ready sliced in vacuum packs of 100 grams or larger.

The varieties available are as follows: Deboned ham: 4-6 kgs or sliced Dried cured sausage (salchicon) in three quality levels as long sausage (2 kgs) or sliced in packs. Spanish Chorizo: sausage or tunnel shaped or sliced in packs. Salami; sausage or sliced in packs Pepperoni: sausage or sliced in packs.
