Designation
Rioja DOC.
Vinification
The fruits were hand picked and transported to the winery in 15 kg boxes. Next they were placed on the selecting table and only the best racemes were used to make the wine. After alcoholic fermentation and before the malolactic fermentation stage, controlled amounts of oxygen were bubbled into the wine. Malolactic fermentation took place in American oak casks and continued with the wine's being aged in eastern oak casks for 11 months, then bottled to continue its refining process.
